Brian Regan, Tuachan, and Great friends

Clear back in January (at our neighborhood retreat) Jamie and I decided that we were going to buy tickets to the Brian Regan concert at Tuachan.  Finally May came and we were able to meet Dustin and Jamie in St. George and go and see the show.  I have watched Brian Regan on youtube and netflix and he is hilarious...live, he was even better!  It was a gorgeous night, at a gorgeous venue, with great friends.  We were going to stay overnight, and make a weekend of it, but Dalaney had dance competitions, so Mike and I drove home after the show and got home around 2am.  Crazy! But it was totally worth it!

15 Years and Disneyland...What Could be Better??

Mike and I decided that for our 15 year anniversary, we wanted to do something really fun. I, of course, wanted to go somewhere tropical and sit on a beach.(: Mike thought it would be fun (and cheaper) to go to Disneyland. Since we have annual passes right now, Mike won, and we headed to Disneyland. I seriously am so glad we did, because it was a BLAST! Don't get me wrong...I love going to Disneyland with our kids, but alone was so, so FUN!! We went into the park for 4 days and it was seriously dead.  We walked right onto rides and really didn't have to wait hardly at all.  Because we were by ourselves and the park was so empty, we got done riding all of the rides (two or three times) by around 6pm.  So we could have a nice dinner and relax before the fun started again the next day.  We also had a lot of time to explore Downtown Disney, which we haven't really done with the kids before.  We found some yummy restuarants and even went to see a movie one night.  By the way, not many people go to the movies when they are at Disneyland, we were the only ones in the theater...It was great!(:  I also talked Mike into getting his very first pedicure.  Our hotel had a little spa in it and they only charged $25 for a pedicure...or so I thought.(:  They kept adding things on and us being nieve like we are...just let them.  Our pedicures ended up being $132!!!!  Needless to say, Mike said that he didn't need to get one of those ever again!(:  We had so much fun, and I am so glad that I married my best friend!  Love ya Mike!

Don't you just love my hair!(:  It's called humidity...I hate it!(:

We went into the innovations building, which we have never done before.  They had  a ton of awesome games to play and future stuff to look at.  Really cool.

Try not to be too jealous that I am going to look SO fabulous when I am old...(:

See how empty it was!!  It was Awesome!

Funny story...I wanted to get a picture by this sign, and there was NO ONE around.  We waited forever and finally this little old man came and offered to take the picture.  His hands were totally shaking, but by that point, it just had to do.(:

I always get made fun of for wearing a poncho...I hate to be wet.

This was before he knew how much it was costing him...(:

Our anniversary dinner

Yes, that is Mike right in the middle of the theater

Waiting for our flight...Mike took this without me knowing.(:

I had to add this picture of my AMAZING banana pecan waffle.  I seriously had this every morning...Heaven!!

I took this one to show everyone how dead it was.  If you've ever been to Disneyland, this is one of the craziest, busiest sections of the park.  I about died when we came around the corner and this is what we saw.

Katelynn and Softball don't Mix

Katelynn has had some not so fun experiences with softball throughout her life, but I think this one has been the worst.  Whitney and Kate had slept over at the Cordero's house (cousins) and went to Kamry's softball game to cheer her on.  Kate was sitting right behind the back stop and a foul ball came over the fence and hit her right in the lip.  It broke her braces off and let a really pretty looking lip.(:

Grandpa's Birthday

In April we celebrated My Father-in-law's 60th birthday! We had a big celebration at the church and ate lots of yummy food.  My mother-in-law had a few people get up and talk about Dennis and tell some of their favorite memories with him.  It really was a nice night and a good chance to let Dennis know how much we all care about and appreciate him.  Dennis is one of the hardest working people I know.  He taught Mike how to work hard and how to be respectful.  I really am thankful for such a great father-in-law.
Twins....(:

The kids all loved playing on the saddles.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was a nice relaxing day. Of course the Easter Bunny stopped by and left a few little gifts and of course he left some treats too.(: It really was just a beautiful day celebrating the wonderful gift that our Savior gave to us.

The girls were super excited that the Easter Bunny brought them contacts.(:

Easter Egg Hunts

One of the downfalls of getting behind on your blog is that you totally forget what went on.(:  Easter weekend is always a little crazy, but also a ton of fun.  On Saturday we were able to spend time with both our families for our annual Easter Egg Hunts.  Of course the kids got a ton of candy and loved being with a lot of their cousins.  I love Easter time!  I am so grateful for my Savior and for his willingness to die for me.  I love the hymn "I Stand All Amazed" and everything it says.  At Easter time (and really throughout the year) I love to repeat the words of that song in my head and feel the love that the Savior has for me.

Spencer showing Grandma Great all of his loot.(:

My nephew Jesse decided to hide an egg clear up in the walnut tree...I guess he was making sure that he would actually get one.(:

I Love this picture of Kate!  She is growing up way too fast!  (Notice that I don't have a picture of Whitney in this post...she is obviously TOO cool to have her picture taken right now.)

Classic Spencer and Bella...Love it!
