Halloween

Yes, I am almost caught up...pretty crazy, anyway, I am finally posting our Halloween pictures. I don't know about you, but I always take a million pictures at Halloween. My kids dressed up about 4 or 5 times, the week of Halloween, and I feel like I always need to take pictures every time. We had a great Halloween this year ( I love Halloween), but I'm glad to be done for another year. The only thing I didn't get pictures of, was on Halloween night, we had some of our friends over for sweetrolls and hot chocolate. It was a lot of fun, so I hope to do it again next year. For Halloween, Whitney was a nerd, Kate was a Greek Goddess (thank you Jenny), Dalaney was the Tooth Fairy, Ethan was a nerd, and Spencer was a giraffe.

Sweet Baby Spencer

I had to post this cute picture of Spencer. He is getting so big all of the sudden! He is sitting, rolling, trying to crawl, and he can sit up when he is layed on the floor. Of course he puts everything in his mouth which is always tons of fun!(: He is still so sweet and mellow (which we totally love).

The Big Deer Hunt

So, my husband loves to hunt! He has gone hunting ever since we got married. He is not a total die hard hunter, which I am totally greatful for!! He loves to go and camp and be with his dad and brother, so I am glad that this year he got the chance to do that. I am also glad that this year, he actually came home with a deer (I love Jerky). I'll say sorry in advance for some of the yucky pictures.(:

The big catch. I love the look on Mike's face...is he happy or what!(:

Mike and his brother got one this year.

Reflections

This year for Reflections, the theme was, "Beauty is..." These are the girls entries.
Whitney decided at the last minute, to enter. Beauty to her is fashion, and anything envolved with it.From the very beginning, Katelynn knew that she wanted to paint a rose. She is really good at painting flowers.Dalaney wanted to paint a rainbow with our family standing underneath. When all was said and done, she didn't have room for the family, so she just painted herself.(: It even says "me" on it with an arrow. So cute!

So Dalaney and her best friend, Halle, got a hold of Katelynns' camera the other day. They were so proud of all of the pictures that they took. I just thought it was so funny, that they posed all of these picture. They totally are two of a kind!(:

Fall Break

Get ready for a huge post! I think I have put off blogging about our Fall Break trip, because I have been dreading uploading all of these pictures. I need to take less pictures, because I have the hardest time just picking a few. For Fall Break this year, we (really I) decided that we were going to go and do something. We didn't go on any vacations this last summer, so I thought this would be our chance. We decided that we were going to drive to Vegas to see Dave and Lindsay. The plan was to shop, swim, and just relax. But then...I was talking to my brother about our plans, and we thought it might be fun to surprise the kids and go to Disneyland for a day. Well, you know how I am, once I set my mind to something, it's hard to change it. So I started looking up ticket prices. In the mean time, we decided that we might as well spend the night in California and spend two days in Disneyland. So we started our trip in St. George with Grandpa and Grandma Boynton. Then we drove to Vegas, and stayed the night at Dave and Lindsays. We told the kids that in the morning we were going to wake up at 3am and go to a canyon and see the sun rise. They totally went along with it. So early the next morning we ALL loaded in the car (including Dave and Lindsay, who were really good sports!) We drove FOREVER, and finally made it to Disneyland. The girls had no clue until we were right in front of Disneyland. It was awesome! Whitney said, "That looks like the Tower of Terror..." Katelynn was like, "There's a Disneyland Bus, we should go to Disneyland...ha ha." When they finally realized that we were going to Disneyland, they started laughing and couldn't stop. It was so fun! Needless to say, we (I mean Mike) did a ton of driving! But it was totally worth it! So here you go, hopefully you will feel like you were there with us because of all of the pics.(:Sleeping at Grandpa and Grandma Boyntons (our kids LOVE staying at their house!)G & G Boynton and all the kids.Of course I had to take pics of all the kids in G&G's beautiful yard.In Vegas, we ate hamburgers from this yummy hamburger place ( I can't remember the name). David ordered a HUGE burger for him, and Whitney was demonstrating that she couldn't even fit her mouth around it. I love Kate's face in this pic.(:The gang in Vegas. Our first day in Disneyland. Of course we went straight to the Haunted Mansion!Spencer loved the rides that he could go on. He was such a good baby!Waiting for the rest of the gang outside of Indiana Jones.I waited and waited for them to come down Splash Mountain. Finally they came to the top, and Dave yelled and waved his arms. Yeah, my camera was turned off, so this is what I ended up with.(:
All WetI love this picture of Dalaney! This is her watching the Main Street Parade. It was fun to be there at Halloween time. The whole park was totally decorated for Halloween.I love Disneyland! Only at Disneyland would you wear these glasses!(:Um...no explanation needed!(:You have to at least try on a pair of Minnie ears...right!?Do you think we were a little tired???FINALLY!!!!My awesome brother and his cute wife.Dave and Lindsay took the girls to the rooftop pool to swim and watch the fireworks.

Ethan was fun, because he was old enough to get excited about seeing his favorite Disney Characters.

He couldn't believe that Mater was right in front of him.(:One of my favorite pics!Waiting in line for the new Toy Story 2 ride. Totally worth the wait!Dave and Lindsay were such a huge help with the kids. Thanks guys!Mike and Ethan on Toy Story 2.Dave with Ethan and Dalaney, while we went on California Screamin' a MILLION times!(:So right by the carousel, there is a fountain. It was 90 degrees, and Ethan was hot. So he decided to play in the fountain, and I let him.(: He was drenched!Ethan loved the Lady Bug ride. He would totally laugh the whole time! That is pure joy on Ethan's face! He loves Handy Manny!Playing by Space MountainMy two "Goofy" boys.
