Puppy Love

So, Mike "informed" me on his way home from work the other day, that he was bringing home his dad's dog for a day. Well, one day ended up being 3, but atleast the puppy was cute. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I want one!! But I definately prefer the cuter ones to the ugly cow dogs that Mike usually brings home (did I just write that?) Anyway, the kids were in heaven.

Wow, time flies by. I took this picture of Spencer in January, when he was 10 months old. It is always amazing to me, when all of the sudden, your little baby can eat solid, grown up food. Spencer loves to eat whatever we'll give him, and of course, he loves to make huge messes with it all too. Spencer has been my pickiest eater (we can't even trick him.) So when we find something that he'll actually eat, we stick with it.(:

New Years Day

Growing up, we always had the tradition of the New Years Baby. On New Year's Eve, you leave out one shoe and the New Years Baby leaves you a small gift (usually something that Santa forgot to leave out.) Our tradition is, that the New Years Baby leaves us tickets to a movie that we all get to go see on New Years Day. This year we went to see "The Princess and the Frog." Then we ate, or tried to eat at Red Robin. Ethan had a meltdown, so we ended up taking it to go. Good times!
