Whitney's 14th birthday was on February 17th! I feel really, really old! I can hardly believe that my chubby little baby is now 14! It is amazing how much Whitney has changed in the last couple of years! She really can be a big pain in the you know what, but she also can be the most helpful and fun person to be around too. It is really strange having a teenager. One minute you can be totally frustrated with them and the next minute they are totally making you laugh. I have to admit, that I have really liked this phase. Maybe because I can totally remember being that age. I don't know, but I love it! Whitney is a straight A student. She loves country music and is a self proclaimed "cowgirl." She loves to hunt and be at the plant with her cousins. She constantly is spilling stuff on her clothes (we make fun of this constantly). She is obsessed with facebook and pinterest! And thank goodness she has her own kindle fire so that she can be on them constantly!(: She is the person in our home that keeps us in line. She can't stand immodesty, and she is really good to monitor the music that is played in our home or car. She started working out with the same personal trainer that I use, and she is getting really strong! (Whitney used to have a hard time passing a gallon of milk at the dinner table...seriously). I have really loved being able to just talk with her about anything...she just gets it! I'm so glad that the boy I thought I was going to have 14 years ago turned out to be a girl! Love you Whit!

My beautiful Whitney |
For her birthday she decided that she just wanted to hang out with her friends. We ordered pizza and they entertained themselves (see picture below)...They probably sat and threw candy corns into eachothers mouths for a half hour...at least. Crazy girls! After they watched a few episodes of "Psych" we headed to cold stone and got some ice cream. I am so glad that Whitney has chosen such great friends. I am constanly amazed at the beautiful woman she is growing into.
