Our Memorial weekend ended up being a little different this year. On Saturday we celebrated my mom's birthday with a bbq. It is always fun to be all together enjoying each other. Lindsay and I took the kids to the park and seriously, I think Lindsay and I had more fun than the kids. Of course, I forgot to take the camera.): After the bbq we had yummy chocolate cake ( that my sis-in-law, Lorelei made) and sang to my mom. On Sunday, we usually spend the evening with Mike's family. This year, Kate was sick on Sunday, so I stayed home with her. Mike took the rest of the kids and was able to get to at least one cemetary before they got drenched. Half way up north, Mike realized he forgot the camera....so, no pictures. ): On Monday, we took the kids to eat breakfast at Magleby's Fresh. This is a fun tradition we started a couple of years ago. If you've never had breakfast there, you are totally missing out. After breakfast, Mike had to head to Delta to take Kate's steer for the fair. All of the kids wanted to go, so I sacrificed and stayed home with Spencer.(: It was tough being home in a quiet house relaxing all day, but somehow, I survived.(; It ended up being a super fun weekend.

I love this shot. Dalaney was holding one of my mom's poppys up to her head. I love those eyes!

I asked Whitney to be in charge of taking pictures in Delta, and I ended up with a whole lot of this...(:

Ethan's happy because he's on his way to Delta.
