Horsin' Around

A few weeks ago, we were able to go up to the plant and see a couple of our horses that have been away being trained. Of course, Whitney thinks they are hers, and so does Ethan.(: I took my camera to take a few pictures. As I was taking pictures, I kept thinking about how even though we were in this yucky place (sorry honey, but you know how much I love the plant) I was able to get such good pictures of my kids. It was fun to see my kids get so excited about the horses. Most the time I am grateful that they inherited Mike's love for animals. (Notice that I said, most of the time!)(:

Welcome to my life!(:

Sweet Dalaney - Dalaney is definately my child! She does not love the plant. If fact, she cries whenever we are by the cows. Trust me, I'm crying on the inside too!(:

Ethan was so excited to see the horses.

Our sweet kids.(:

Ethan acted like he owned the place!(:

Mike tryin' out the horses new moves. That is the trainer on the right. Pretty cool.

My cute Kate

Spencer did NOT love being on the horse!

but Ethan did!(:

Grandma and Grandpa Boynton

My kids Love Grandma and Grandpa Boynton! We were able to visit with them a little while ago while they were staying at Dennis and Cathy's house. It's always fun to see them. Even though they are Mike's grandparents, I have always felt like they were mine too. Grandpa Boynton is actually the only grandpa that I have had, because my grandpas both passes away before I was born. We love you Grandma and Grandpa Boynton!

St. George Getaway

My friend, Jamie, asked me if Dalaney and I would like to go to St. George for her daughter Halle's dance competition. Of course we totally wanted to! Dalaney totally loves Halle, so it was fun to be able to go and have a girls weekend.

The Last Easter Post...Finally!

I am so sick of posting about our Easter weekend!(: So I am finally going to finish so that I can get caught up with everything else that is going on in our crazy life.(: We had a great Easter day. We were able to stay home, watch conference, and really remember why we celebrate Easter. I am so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ, and for his redeeming atonement for us. I don't fully understand the Atonement, but I do know what a blessing it is for me and for all of us. I hope you all had a great Easter.

Annual Easter Egg Hunts

Like I mentioned in the last post, Easter and Conference were on the same weekend this year. So we were able to spend lots of time with our families, and of course, have our annual Easter Egg Hunts. The kids always make a haul, and they totally LOVE it! Here's some fun pictures from our day.

General Conference

General Conference just happened to land on Easter this year. In some ways it was nice, but I sort of felt like everything was just crammed together.(: We broke tradition this year, and had doughnuts at my parent's house on Saturday morning instead of on Sunday morning. We thought it would be easier to have our doughnut breakfast, watch conference, and then have our Easter egg hunt. Later in the afternoon, we headed up to Mike's mom and dad's house for another easter egg hunt (I'll post pictures soon), and then all of the men went to the Piesthood session. On Sunday we stayed home and just enjoyed being together as a little family. It was great!
