Annual Robbins Family Halloween Party

Every year for Halloween, my sister Kathy hosts a Halloween party at her house. She is the Martha Stewart of our family. She always makes it a memorable experience. We carve pumpkins, have dinner, and of course have a costume parade. She makes it fun with eyeball candles in the drinks, chocolate mice, eyeball chocolates, and lots of other fun things. She's pretty much a pro.(: This year everyone was able to come except Kristi and her family and Mike (he was moving cows). Thanks for the fun party Kath.
We roasted hotdogs and had smores A twist on the traditional birthday cake.(: It's a chocolate eyeball for my b-day.

Ward Halloween Party

I totally love Halloween time. I just love this time of year, the smells, the candy, the weather (unless it's too cold). Anyway, every year, our ward has a Halloween party. It is so much fun because all of the kids dress up, and most of the adults too. Mike and I have never been big dresser upers, but the last couple of years, we've decided to just have fun with it. We don't usually have a theme, we just kind of do what ever we want too. Anyway, lets just say that Mike is a great sport. You'll know why when you see the pictures.(: My two boys. (No, those are not real tatoos on Mike's arms(: and no that is not real hair either.(: Our neighbor Brian and his son Michael. Love the Mullet.

The youth of our ward are in charge of this activity (good job Jamie). They have lots of little games and things for the kids to do. This is Dalaney and Ethan fishing for goodies. My cute friend Jamie. She normally doesn't have purple hair.(:Ethan freaked out a little when I started to paint his face. He kept staring at everyone wondering what the heck we were all doing.I love this picture! This is Mike with our Bishop. They were setting up an appointment for Mike to meet with him.(;Whitney won the most creative pumpkin award. Good thing that Katelynn cleaned it out and I helped carve it. Just kidding Whitney! Katelynn and her pumpkin Dalaney and her cute pumpkinI won an award for my pumpkin too, but I can't remember what (it's the pregnancy setting in)(:

High School Musical 3...Senior Year(:

So of course on Friday, I took the girls to see HSM3. We went with Mikes mom and sisters, and my sister-in-law and their kids to see the movie. If you haven't seen it yet, it is a fun movie. Of course it is cheesy, but the music and dancing is really good. After the movie we went to Red Robin to have some dinner. It was packed, so we had to split up(that is why there are two pictures.) Mike's sister Camille and her daughter Kamri came to the movie with us, but had to leave before dinner. And Elisa had to work, so we missed her.

Catchin' up

ok, so I feel like I am totally behind on my blog. So today was a little catch up day. Sorry for the blog overload.(:

Fall Break-Idaho here we come!

For Fall Break last week, I decided it would be fun to take the kids to Rexburg to visit my sister. Mike had to work and hunt of course(:, so I loaded the kids up and we went on our way. I was super prepared for the car ride. We had tons of goodies, drinks, kid magazines, coloring books, and of course every Jonas Brother's, Miley Cyrus, HSM, etc. Cd that we own. And oh yeah, we had a cow magazine for Ethan. The kids were so good, I could hardly believe it.(: My sister had a ton of stuff planned, so we never were bored. Our first outing was to the library and to Porters. One of Mike's old mission companions is part owner of Porter's. It is the most awesome store. It is kind of a mix between Roberts, Taipan, Scrapbook, material, and office store. It was kind of funny, because it was me and my sister, and our nine kids. Just try to picture that. good times! Anyway, we also went to the college's planetarium and saw a star show, visited the Idaho Falls temple, (where Ethan threw the biggest tantrum ever), and of course we went bowling at the college (another fun experience.) Ethan ended up running down the bowling lane, and I ran after him. Yeah, bowling lanes are totally waxed down, so Ethan ended up flat on the ground, and I ended up on his head. Totally embarrassing!!! Needless to say, I am still sore from the whole experience. We had a great week, and it was so nice to be able to spend time with my sister, since she has lived in Scotland for the last 3 years. So thanks Kristi for all the meals, great adventures, and super soft towels(:and Jeremy thanks for the yummy popcorn and Jeeves and Wooster movie nights.
Amber, Katelynn, Kimberly, Lizzy, Dalaney, Whitney and Emily The funnest store! Our night at the planetarium Visiting the Idaho Falls Temple This shot is on the Temple grounds. I love it. The only thing that would make it better would be if Ethan was in it... But, he had other plans.(: Feeding the ducks pretzels in Idaho Falls, I hope we didn't kill them. Bowling Night Ethan thought it was the greatest thing to be able to throw a huge heavy ball. I think he would have been completely happy if every turn was his turn. I'm kind of obsessed with shoe shots. Look how cute Ethan's little bowling shoes are. Bowling Beauties.(: Kristi and me.

My Wrangler Man

So lately, Ethan is obsessed with anything cowboy. He carries Mike's cow magazines around the house. He loves everything cow. Mike is loving it. I guess it was a good thing Ethan was born into our family, because we have cows in bulk supply.(:

Michael and Kristen's Wedding

A couple of weeks ago, my youngest brother, Michael, got married. Their wedding and reception was up Hobble Creek Canyon. They had it in a pool house which was beautiful, except that we happen to have a little boy named Ethan that is obsessed with anything that is dangerous. So we ended up holding him the whole night-tons of fun!(: Just so he wouldn't fall into the pool. My camera is pretty much broken, so these pictures all turned out a little off. If anyone knows of a great camera that I need to get, let me know, I'm in the market for a new one.(:
Katelynn, Brynna, Jesse, Whitney My brothers Jason and his wife Lorelei (holding Christian) and David and his wife Lindsay. My cute family My mom and dad Katelynn holding Kristen's bouquetMy brother David was trying to get all of us to go swimming in the pool. This is him "acting" like he is going to jump in the pool.(:Me with my sister and brothers (We are missing Kristi), Kathy, me, Michael, Jason, David (try not to notice how fat I am getting.(:After the reception, they had dancing. It actually was a lot of fun. We all danced (I even did the running man...Mike was really impressed.(: This is Dalaney and Jefferson dancing the night away. This is Ethan and Christian running around in circles, over and over again. I guess that is their style of dancing. Notice that the pool is being guarded in the background. Tons of fun!(:

Happy Birthday Dad!

I am so grateful everyday for my dad. He has always taught me what was right and good. And even though I did get into trouble a lot growing up (I know dad, I probably deserved it!), I always felt very loved and safe in our home. I really appreciate and love you dad. Happy birthday, from all of us

Fall Drive

So last Monday for family night, we decided that we better drive up the canyon to see all of the pretty fall leaves. Well, we were about a week too late, but we were still able to get some good pictures. We went up Diamond Fork up Spanish Fork canyon. If you've never been up there, it's kind of fun because they have a fun trail for the kids. Some schools worked on it (including my mom's school.) The girls pointing at all of the beaver eaten trees. Ethan got excited all of the sudden because, surprise...he saw cows. (by the way, Mike hates this picture.)(:
My cute kids (p.s. Dalaney's hair doesn't usually look like this.)(:
