Kid update

I thought it might be fun, at the beginning of this new school year, to do a quick update on all of my kids. They are all growing up so fast, I can hardly believe it!
Whitney is growing up so fast! She likes to think that she is a lot older than she really is.(: She is totally into anything cowgirl right now. She loves fashion, softball, Tim McGraw, and even though she won't admit it, I think she is finally starting to like boys. (She is totally going to say, "Mommmmm" and roll her eyes when she reads that.) She has decided that she needs to wear a hat to and from school each day...it's the fashionista in her. She is sooooo past the Jonas Brothers, and Hannah Montana. She has moved onto Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts. She loves to be on the computer! Mostly to check her new e-mail and to play around with her blog. Whitney loves to laugh. She has a beautiful smile, that will get even more prettier when she gets her braces on in a couple of weeks. I can hardly believe that she is going to be in junior high next year! She will always be my little chubby baby. Katelynn is our fun, loving child (when she wants to be). She is into pretty much anything that Whitney is into.(: Kate is our little giggler. She loves to heely, play with her webkins, and sing and dance to music (mostly Taylor Swift). She is great with Spencer, and loves to frequently pick him up and take care of him. She can find anything that you are looking for. She is the bed maker in our house, because she can do it so well. She is our little mathematician and scientist. She loves to do well in school and really likes playing the piano. She always wants to know where everyone is. So if you are away from the house, expect a ton of calls from Kate. Record amount of calls while Mike and I were on a date: 27. She is our little worrier, and we love her for that.(:
Dalaney is our little Diva! She used to be so sweet, but lately she has turned into a little monster (I mean that in the nicest way possible). Dalaney loves to laugh. In fact she has the most awesome fake laugh that I've ever heard.(: She loves to swing her hips while she walks and flip her hair over her shoulder. Her favorite word is "perfect." As in: "I am so perfect!, My outfit is perfect!, My hair looks so perfect!" She is in love with Conner G., and is not afraid to tell him how hot he is.(: Her best friend in the whole world is Halle S., and they are pretty much one and the same! Dalaney loves Hannah Montana. In fact, she has watched the movie about 20 times since we bought it about a week ago. She still loves her thumb (it is constantly in her mouth...she even talks to us with it in) and she still carries her blanket with her everywhere. She is our dancer. She loves to dance and she has amazing rhythm, considering who her parents are. (;
Ethan is still very much our little cowboy. He wakes up in the morning, goes to the bathroom, and then puts on his wranglers. He completes his outfit with his boots and "cowboy belt." He is our little stinker. He will do anything if he knows you don't want him to.(: He is very stubborn, which can be good and bad. He has quite the temper, so if you cross his path, watch out! He is constantly making us laugh with his cowboy ways. He knows the difference between a heifer and a bull. He will do anything to ride in "daddy's truck" to go see the cows. He loves to ride his stick horse, Silver, around the house...and he is pretty good at it too. He is terrified of dogs, but has no problem with cows.(: He likes to copy everything we say, which can be pretty funny at times. He'll say, "whoa, nice hair!" or "dang it" or "for cryin' out loud." He keeps us on our toes that is for sure!
Spencer is our sweet little baby! He is so content and happy ( I knew Heavenly Father wouldn't send me another Ethan)!(: Spencer loves to laugh and smile. He is so mellow and very patient. He loves his big brother even though he has been slapped and bit numerous times by him. ( all within seconds time...trust me!) He loves to be kissed on his cheeks. If you start to kiss him, he will move his cheek in closer, just so you will keep kissing it. He loves to talk and he slobbers a ton. He can roll onto his belly, but hasn't figured out how to roll back to his back. he is finally on a schedule, which I love! He is also a total thumb sucker. I can't imagine our family with out him.

I loved reading that! Your kids are all so cute...but what I find draws me closer to you is our bond over our hard children. Lilly is just like your son! Let's hope it means they will be the easiest of teenagers!

Amazing how fast they grow up and change. I see it in my kids, too and it's bittersweet. Btw, that picture of Spencer is ADORABLE! Such big, beautiful eyes!
