Night at the Robisons'

The Robisons, some of our favorite friends, just moved up the canyon. The other night, we were able to go and visit with them, and see their new house. We also took the 4-wheeler and Mike and Rhett were able to take the kids for some rides. They have this fun kid 4-wheeler. Ethan found it, and pretty much rode around on it the rest of the night. It was a great babysitter!(:I love this shot!Giving Whitney a ride.(:The gorgeous view from their house. So Mike and Rhett decided that they were going to ride up this huge mountain. It was really steep. So they told me to get the camera. We all sat and watched them ride clear to the top. They made it to the top, and then they went over the other side. We all went back to what we were doing. TWO HOURS later...they showed back up. They had told us that they were going for a short ride, so we all started to get worried. We didn't know if we should go after them, or if we should wait, we all kind of were starting to panic a little. But we figured that they were capable of finding their way back. Well, it turns out, that the mountain was too steep to ride back down, so they had to find a way back. They kept getting blocked by gates, or cliffs, etc. Alison and I still don't know if we should believe them.(:Hailey and KateCute BridgerAll the kids eating (without their dads)SpencerAlison and Rhett (Alison is way prego and you can't even tell...so not fair!)The 4-wheelin' gang! Thanks for the awesome night, Robisons!

Happy B-day Dad!

On the 13th was my dads' b-day! So, for his birthday, he decided that he wanted to take all of his kids, and all of his grandkids to Brick Oven. All of us made it except Kristi and her family, and Travus. It was such a fun night, and amazingly enough, none of us had a camera! My dad ALWAYS has his camera, so I was sick about it all night. So I have no pictures, just memories of the night. I did take a picture of my kids with their awesome balloons that the balloon guy made at Brick Oven.(: Love you dad! Hope you had an awesome b-day.

Conference Weekend

Ya, I'll admit that I am a little behind...ok, a lot behind, so I am going to try and catch up. We had a great Conference Weekend. I always get so excited for conference, I really don't know why, because I never really get to hear the talks. I think I love it just because you get to sit in a room with the people you love, and all feel the spirit together. Of course I record the talks and listen to or read them later. For the Saturday session, Mike and Ethan ended up driving to Idaho to look at some property (surprise, surprise). The girls and I and Spencer drove up North, and went to lunch with Mike's mom, and then went shopping at Tawain, and Taipan. On Sunday, we went to my mom and dad's and had our traditional donut breakfast. Then we just enjoyed being together for the day. We ended our fun weekend with an awesome game of clue (which I won)(:
clockwise starting at top: The 3 babies, Lilly, Bella, and Spencer. All of the kids coloring. Cute Spencer. Classic dad picture!(: My sister, Kathy and I wore pretty much the same outfit. We had on the same jeans, the same vest, and we both were wearing gray shirts. So this is our "model" poses. I love my brother Jasons' face in this picture.(: This is how Mike keeps himself entertained during conference.(: Our fun game of clue. Ammon, Ethan, and Christian enjoying their apples. Some of the kids making a mess with the Legos.

Spencer

Spencer is getting so big. I can hardly believe that he is 71/2 months old. He is such a good baby, thank heavens! He is constantly smiling and talking. I really could just sit and love on him all day long. He is starting to roll over a ton, and he is starting to push up on all fours. I personally wish that he would stay immobile, but I don't think that is going to happen.(:

Fall Fun

We decided that if we wanted to see the fall leaves, we better go up soon and enjoy them. So we decided that for family night at the beginning of the week, we would drive up Diamond Fork and have our last hot dog roast of the year. My mom and dad, and my grandma came with us, and we had a great time. Sorry for the picture overload.(:Whitney

I love this picture of Mike and Ethan!

My "sweet" Dalaney.
Me and my boys
Yes, those are all mine!(and Mike's)(:I had to post this picture of my kids. It totally shows each of their personalities. Whitney is like "seriously mom, are we done yet!?", Kate is still smiling, but not really paying attention, Dalaney is being the little mom, and freaking out about Ethan, Ethan is shaking Spencer back and forth, and Spencer is just content, and dealing with everything Ethan is doing to him. I love it!

Spencer's Surgery

When Spencer was born, we were told that he had hypospadius. Pretty much his little boy part needed to have some work done. We were also told that he would need to be 6 months old to have the surgery. I thought that the day would never come, but now it has come and passed. We took Spencer up to Primary Children's Hospital, where they did the surgery. He had to be put out for an hour and a half. Needless to say, I was a total wreck before the surgery. I knew that there were a lot of family and friends that were praying for Spencer and the night before the surgery, Mike and my dad gave him a blessing. During the surgery I felt calm, and at peace that everything would be fine. I am so grateful for the priesthood and so grateful for the way that it blesses me and my families lives. Spencer did great and he is recovering quickly. For a few days after the surgery he would just cry and cry. I couldn't do anything to help him. It totally broke my heart. But, he is doing much, much better now.

Only in my house...

This is what I saw when I walked out of the office the other day...
