My Baby's got a Broken Leg

About a week ago, we experienced our first broken bone in our family (with our kids anyway). I wasn't home. I was super busy trying to get a million things done (I was getting a massage). Anyway, my kids were jumping on the trampoline and Ethan tripped and fell on Spencer's leg. He wouldn't put any pressure on it, so I carried him around for the rest of the night (I know I'm a great mom.) Finally in the morning, when he still wouldn't put weight on it, I decided that we probably needed to get it checked out. Yup! It was broken just below his knee. Thank goodness it was a clean break, so it should only take 4 weeks in a cast to fix it.(: Spencer is a pretty determined kid, so it didn't even take him a day to start getting around. We call him "Scooter" because that is pretty much what he does. He can't walk on it yet, so we've reverted back to having a newborn that we have to carry around everywhere (a super HEAVY newborn.)

What Goes on While I Nap...

So, lately, my kids have had a fetish with using my NICE camera and having photo shoots. Last Sunday, while I was trying to take a nap, they decided to do just that. I have to admit that they get some pretty good pictures sometimes, I just am worried that one of these times, my camera is going to get dropped. And then I will be one totally UNHAPPY momma!(: These are the pictures they ended up with this time.

I LOVE this one!(:

and of course...a profile picture.(:

All the Fishies in the Sea, Humpty Dumpty, and a Proud American

Don't ya just love all of the end of year programs that your kids have!?! Sometimes I wish that I could just go and watch and enjoy the program, but the inner Robbins in me, won't let me! I feel like I need to video tape and take pictures all while trying to hold onto the boys who want to be anywhere but there.(: So this year I tried to cut back on the pictures and just enjoy as much as I could. Whitney actually had a choir program too, but since she didn't want us to come ( I think we embarrass her)(: I left the camera's home. Instead Mike and I just waved frantically at her and kept motioning for her to smile. It was SO much fun!(:

The Hershey Track Meet

Seriously, the Hershey Track Meet is not my favorite thing in the world!(: I love watching my kids compete in all the races, but I don't love trying to entertain my two boys throughout the events. It actually wasn't that bad this year. Katelynn was competing in the 100 and 200 meter races and then she was asked to compete in the relay race. She got second in all of them, and I was really proud of her. My pictures never turn out that great, I guess my reflexes are slow, but at least I have something to show for being there. Great job Kate!

Spring Soccer

Last year, I swore that I would NEVER do Spring Soccer again! Well, let's just say that I'm a pushover...either that or I have a really bad memory!(: Dalaney wanted to play soccer again this year, and I gave in and let her. Of course it was cold and icky and miserable, but it was a lot of fun too.(: That being said, please remind me to NOT sign her up next year for Spring Soccer!(:

Mother's Day

I don't know about all of you other mom's out there, but I LOVE mother's day! I know that some mom's don't like it because it makes them feel guilty, but not me, I try to milk the day for all it's worth.(: Any day that I can make everyone else in my household do everything for me and get away with it is a great day to me.(: This year we of course got to spend mother's day with both of our mom's. I really feel blessed to have such great women in my life. My mom is someone who is patient, loving, and just a great person. My mom-in-law is giving, loving, and a great entertainer. I am not only greatful for my mom and my mom-in-law, but also all the great mom's in my life. Whether they are my friends, my sisters, my grandmas, aunts, cousins, etc. I just feel so blessed each day for MOM's!

My Baby Girl is getting Old!

Yes, my baby girl just turned 7! I would say that I hardly can believe it, but she acts like a teenager already, so it is really no surprise!(: For Dalaney's birthday this year, she wanted Mike and I to take her to dinner at Magleby's. She wanted the summer salad with strawberries and cream for dessert.(: For her party, we took a few of her friends and (of course) went to the Justin Beiber movie. If you've never sat through that movie with a bunch of 7 year old girls, you should. It was hilarious. I'm really glad that it was almost empty, because I had a bunch of girls singing at the top of their lungs (which they continued to do the rest of the night). After the movie, we all went to Brick oven for some yummy pizza. I've always felt like I really connect to Dalaney, because I am the third child too (and the baby girl in my family). Dalaney is so fun to have around (most of the time).(: She is in LOVE with Justin Beiber! She knows all of his songs, has a couple of his books, and has at least 3 t-shirts with him on the front. She loves to dance to any kind of music. You usually can find her with her BFF, Halle (unless they are in a fight)...drama. Anyway, she is growing so fast and has such a fun personality. She loves to be in front of the camera (especially the video camera...I don't know who she gets that from). We love you Dalaney! Happy Birthday!

She got a new MP3 player, so she can dance and sing constantly!(:

Seriously...that picture says it all!(:

The best part of birthdays!!

Grandpa's Birthday and post Easter Smith Family Celebration

Since Mike's parents were out of town for Easter, we all got together the week after Easter to celebrate Dennis' Birthday and Easter. Of course we had a fun Easter Egg hunt for the kids, Dennis gave out money for hugs, and we ate yummy food....what could be better.(:

Classic Dennis...Happy Birthday!!
