F.H.E. with Grandma Great

Whitney and Katelynn have been working on their Faith in God Awards. One of the requirements in their booklets is to fill out a pedigree chart and learn more about Family History. Of course the first person I thought of to help me do this was my Grandma Robbins. She is a Genealogy Queen. She has done genealogy ever since I can remember. So I asked her if we could come to her house and learn more about our family history. It was so fun to see all of the pictures that she has of our ancestors, and of her and my grandpa. The girls loved learning about their grandma and grandpa great. My grandma had family trees to fill out, and even me and Mike had a hard time with all of the names (so sad). Anyway, it turned out to be a great Family Night.
Grandma with her Book of RemembranceThis is us trying to remember all of our Great Grandparents names. Good thing my parents were there to help us out.(: F.H.E. wouldn't be complete without treats. Thanks Grandma!

Weekend with the Cordero's

A couple of weekends ago, the Cordero's came and stayed with us for a night. Matt and Camille are some of our favorite people. Camille is Mike's younger sister, and we have always been really close. Her and Matt were going to the BYU and UCLA game and asked if we would watch their kids. While they were at the game we went to my niece, Brynna's baptism. I gave the baptism talk. Lets just say it was short and sweet. It's always fun to go to baptisms. After that we met Matt and Camille back at the house. The kids all played and stayed up late. So did the adults. We ate a ton of candy, and of course I had to have my second dinner(pregnancy joys). The Corderos came to church with us the next day. We are trying to get them to move down this way.(: After church we had a yummy roast dinner and then played a great game of kickball. At least the guys did with the kids. Camille and I were just the cheerleaders.(: I wish I had taken better pictures of everyone, but I am still learning how to take great pictures to blog. It was fun to have family stay with us since they all live so close, it doesn't happen very often. So thanks Corderos for the fun weekend.

Kate's Cut

Every year it seems that we give Katelynn a major haircut. Out of all of my kids, her hair seems to grow like crazy. Every summer, it seems to get so damaged from swimming, and just being out in the sun that we end up cutting off quite a bit. I think it turned out cute. She, of course, still wants it in a ponytail every day.(:

Storm Chaser

Yesterday, we had a pretty good storm with hail and everything. Whitney and Katelynn, being the crazies that they are, decided it would be fun to go and play in it. I remember playing in summer storms when I was little-good times.

Is it worth it?

So, every time that I sit down to blog, this is what my office ends up looking like. It drives me nuts. So is it worth it?....I think so.(:

Dancing Queens

This week was the girls first week of their new dance classes. I signed them up for the BYU Creative dance classes. They were all really excited and nervous to start, but they all did great. I forgot to take the camera to Whitney's class, so I will post one of her in December, the next time that I'm allowed in the room (no parent policy) --dang, I hate it when I forget the camera.(;

Like Father, Like Son

1st day of the sale
2nd day of the sale

This last week was the annual Pizter Horse Sale. I know most of you were totally looking forward to it--just kidding! Mike looks forward to it every year. It's in Nebraska, so of course Mike didn't go to it, he watched it live on the Internet. Which pretty much means that my husband was constantly in the computer room all weekend. He would eat and sleep in other rooms, and then it was back to the computer.(: Ethan, being the cowboy that he is, was more than happy to sit with Mike and watch the horses. Me and the girls went shopping, and while we were gone, Mike called me and, very nicely, asked if he could bid on a horse. Me, being the nice wife that I am-don't laugh, told him that he could only bid to a certain amount. He ended up getting a nice mare for only $325, which is a great deal. He is very proud of it, so I guess we'll just add it on to all of the other animals that we have-oh the life that I married into.(:

Of course the kids totally love it and think that we should keep Sue in the back yard--but we're not.(;

First day of Preschool

Tuesday was Dalaney's first day of preschool. We are so lucky this year because her school is right down the street. She loves to grab Halle and Drew and run down to school-so grown up. She is loving it and I am loving having some one on one time with Ethan.
